Our ministry for men continues to grow. It provides opportunities for men of all ages to build authentic Christ-like relationships with one another, learn how to walk as a daily witness for Jesus, and learn how to influence their peers to pursue Christ in all areas of their lives.
Our Growth Groups are intentionally designed to gather people together in small communities, so that no matter where an individual is in their faith journey, they can feel accepted and valued, as they learn to pursue Christ with others. These highly relational groups consist of Bible discussion, meal times and outside social times as friendships deepen.
Our ministry for women continues to grow. It provides opportunities for women of all ages to build authentic Christ-like relationships with one another, learn how to walk as a daily witness for Jesus, and learn how to influence their peers to pursue Christ in all areas of their lives.
The Nollamara Church Family holds the view that caring for one another is a privilege and responsibility. Our Connect and Care Network is founded on the personal dynamics of our Growth Groups, so that everyone can be cared for by more people, including the Pastoral Care Team.
Our ministry for people 60+ years also welcomes other age groups. The group gathers weekly during the term each Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. They enjoy morning tea together, while engaging in various activities and listening to devotional readings from the Bible. Excursions of various interests are also planned throughout the year. Trip costings are off-set by items that are sold from the Second Chance Table.
Arts and Crafts Ministry
Our ministry through Arts and Crafts is an opportunity for women to develop friendships with one another. On the first Friday of each month, women can enjoy scrapbooking from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. with an option to stay on for a fish and chip dinner. On the third Friday of each month, the group make greeting cards for a fee of $5.00 for three cards.
Audio Visual Production Ministry
Our Audio Visual Production Ministry aims to use digital media to reach a broader audience online and to share the love of Jesus. Through this increasingly important and effective medium for the modern church, we also provide recorded online sermons through the Nollamara Church of Christ YouTube channel, and Facebook page. We value others contribution to this ministry.
